Unison is a ceramic tableware collection shaped by the pursuit of clarity, balance, and sculptural intention. Handcrafted in our workshop, each of the seven pieces is tinted with subtly refined pigments and finished with a dual-surface treatment: a raw, tactile exterior that preserves the honesty of the material, and a glazed interior that introduces a gentle luminosity. This interplay of matte and shine gives the collection its quiet depth and visual tension.
At the heart of Unison lies a distinctly architectural concept: every element is designed to stack into the next, forming a cohesive, sculptural composition. What begins as everyday tableware shifts into an object of form and rhythm — a study in how function and art can merge through proportion, line, and restraint.
Celebrated for its conceptual clarity, Unison received the German Design Award and was exhibited in “Stapeln. Ein Konzept der Moderne” at the Wilhelm Wagenfeld Stiftung. It is also part of the permanent collection of the Pinakothek der Moderne, underscoring its position at the intersection of design, craft, and contemporary culture.
