Since 2012, Schneid Studio has explored the intersection of design, material and making through a growing collection of lighting, furniture and objects. A hands-on approach lies at the core of the studio’s practice. Many pieces are developed and produced in-house, allowing ideas to evolve directly through the process of making. Rather than treating production as a separate stage, material, craft and experimentation remain active parts of the design process from beginning to end.

Our Collection

The collection brings together lighting, furniture and objects shaped through an ongoing exploration of material, proportion and atmosphere. Working across wood, ceramic and metal, Schneid develops pieces that are both functional and expressive. Each object responds to the qualities of its material, embracing texture, weight, reflection and surface as active elements of the design. The result is a collection of quiet yet distinctive objects that create character through form, materiality and use.

The close dialogue between design and making results in objects that feel considered, tactile and enduring. Guided by curiosity and a deep appreciation for material integrity, Schneid Studio creates pieces that balance sculptural presence with everyday use.
