Schneid Studio develops objects with a strong sense of character, shaped by an instinctive approach to form, colour and material. The work moves between precision and expression, creating pieces that feel considered yet individual, functional yet distinctly sculptural.
The studio’s independence in development and production plays an important role in this approach. Working across small editions and larger series makes it possible to pursue ideas that might otherwise be simplified by the demands of conventional industrial production. Forms can remain more expressive, colours more deliberate and material decisions more specific to the object itself.
This flexibility allows Schneid to work with a degree of openness that sits somewhere between product design and collectible design. The result is a body of work that is recognisable without being uniform: precise but not restrained, functional but often sculptural, and open to colour, material contrast and unexpected proportion.
